RBF 600 FACTORY LINE

The very high wet boiling point (421F) superior to conventional DOT 5.1 non silicone base fluid (356F min) and DOT 4 (311F min) assures efficient braking even under humid and moist conditions. Indeed, DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property to absorb humidity in the air, which reduces their boiling points and increases the risk of boiling the fluid. RBF 600 Super Hi-Temp racing brake fluid was developed for high heat and the extreme pressure demands of professional racing. RBF 600 has a low viscosity blended with unmatched performance in the most extreme conditions for minimal hydroscopic effect and very low compressibility. The RBF 600 will give solid pedal feel, great response, super high heat protection and maximum life.

Recommendations:
Flush COMPLETELY bleed system with new RBF600. For racing, TOP OFF and BLEED regularly. Although mixable with other DOT 3 and 4 fluids, avoid mixing RBF600 with brake fluids with lower performance specs. Do not mix with silicone (DOT 5 silicone base) or mineral base fluids (LHM). Store brake fluid in its original container, tightly closed to prevent absorption of moisture.

Properties:
100% synthetic fluid, polyglycol bases. Yellow in color. Half-liter bottles.

What is the DOT Rating?
The DOT rating is the Department of Transportation’s ratings test, signifies the brake fluid ability to resist moisture. The higher the DOT rating the more resistant it is to moisture. DOT 3 or 4 will work fine for vehicles under practically all conditions. For long term usage without bleeding or for stored vehicles use DOT 5.1.

What is the boiling point?
When new fluid is installed, it will boil at a certain DRY temperature. When it reaches this temperature air bubbles are formed and they are compressible, resulting in “BRAKE FADE”. An extremely high dry boiling point will help prevent this phenomenon. Once the brake fluid is exposed to air it begins to absorb moisture. Therefore one must pay attention to the wet boiling point of the fluid. For high temperature use, Motul Racing RBF 600 has one of the highest wet boiling points in the racing industry.

Selling $25 per bottle of 500ml.
